Central Lakes State Trail Sign

This new sign was placed between Highway 82 and Front Street on the bike trail.

There are also signs on the trail in Fergus Falls, Dalton, Ashby, Evansville, Garfield, Alexandria and Osakis.

WPA Mural Painted by Elsa Jemne for the Historic Brandon Auditorium

 Brandon MN   This WPA mural depicts a stagecoach way station established in the 1850's when the government built a road to Fort Abercrombie on the Red River Trail.  The mural also depicts a stagecoach and Indians in canoes.  In the lower picture the artist Elsa Jemne, is looking at the mural which she painted for the new Brandon Auditorium in 1936.
