Visitors at the Brandon History Center over Summerfest


Relatives of Lucille Holmgren Modig Biernat, brought two of her dolls to the Brandon History Center during the Summerfest.

Lucille Holmgren was the daughter of Albert and Louise Holmgren.  Albert was on the Brandon Fire Department from Jan.1, 1905 until April 1, 1952 which was 47 years of service to the Brandon Community.  Albert was a partner in the Christenson-Holmgren General Store that was located where the present Brandon Post Office is located.  Louise Holmgren was a sister to Henry Christenson and an aunt to Elda Sletto.

Visitors at the Brandon History Center over Summerfest


John Engel, son of Delphin Engel, and Avery Larson, great grandson of Delphin Engel, came to the Brandon History Center to get a photo taken with           Delphin's US Navy Uniform.

Visitors at the Brandon History Center over Summerfest


Delmar DeBilzen graduated from Brandon High School in 1952


Delmar visited the Brandon History Center along with his wife 
Dorothy Wetsch DeBilzen and her sister Elaine Wetsch.


Delmar's parents, Melvin and Mary DeBilzen,  were owners and

operators of the Diner. One on their specialties was turtle. 

 

The Diner was a popular resturant and bar in Brandon for many years. 


The Dorothy and Elaine Wetsch family operated the Cafe in Brandon in

 1953 - 1954.  It is presently KC's Cafe.
