 This Greyhound Bus Depot Sign was donated by Don Roers.  Don was a bus driver for this company for 18 years.

Bus service to Brandon was discontinued  when Interstate 94 came to our area.

Antique Millerville Road Sign discovered. And yes, I did check to find that the Model T cars at that time  did have speedometers.

 The Brandon Auditorium Roof Repair Plaque is now posted in the entrance of the Brandon Auditorium. Thanks to everyone for your help with this project. 

Brandon Bank History Display During Brandon Summerfest

Be sure to look for the Brandon History Center display, 

 Brandon Bank History 1901 - 2026. 

It can be found at the Brandon Auditorium after the parade on  Saturday August 1st. There will be framed photos of past presidents such as O.W. Harrison, Leroy Wallin, Leroy Larson, Warren Gibson, John Rolf and Mary Walter. There will be photos of the early banks going back to 1901.

Our department is stronger because of you, and our community is safer because you've answered the call time and time again.  I'm proud to have served with such a great leader!

Beautiful New Welcome To Brandon Sign

The new Welcome to Brandon Sign, South on County Road 7, is up and beautiful. Brandon/Evansville art students from grades 6 thru 12 under the direction of art teacher Shelly Firchau, did the art work.  The Brandon Community Clup spearheaded the project.  Brad Klossner, Clem, Roers,  Terrill Morical and Tom Helder were the muscle that took the old sign down and erected the new sign.  A huge Thank You to everyone involved.

It was located at approximately 205 Central Ave. in Brandon, 
about where the present Car Wash is located.

Remember the Gardonville Annual Meeting 

and Pork Chop Dinner on Thursday, April 30th.

 

Gene's Log Cabin Cafe and Auto Service Shop in Brandon MN

 This Log Cabin Cafe and Auto Service Shop in Brandon was run by many  different people. Here is a list of the ones that we can remember;   Gene Hagedorn, Phillip Brennon,Carole & Myron Sevrson, George and Ann Lund, Kaufmans, Joyce & Dan Rusch, Gail Wagner ran the cafe and Jim Korkowski ran the auto service shop.  Maybe you can remember even more.  The Log Cabin was located SW of  the intersection of # 7 and County Road # 82( formerly US 52).

"School of Fish"

35 Students graduated from the "School of Fish" sponsored by the Brandon Fin & Feather and the Evansville Area Sportsmen. This took place at the Brandon Auditorium April 18, 2026

 All of the Brandon Firemen are volunteers.  They all spend a very great deal of time each and every year on mandatory training to keep up-to-date.  Our firemen are on call 24-7.
